How to Use the Grinder
Our grinder comes in 5 pieces, each with a special purpose to get you the freshest ground spices
- Place your spice of choice in the top portion on the teeth and close the magnetic lid over on top of the spices to encase them in the grinding teeth.
- Twist the lid and ground spices will fall into the clear jar portion. Note: turn the grinder upside down for a finer grind before flipping it rightside up.
- Open the jar portion to access the ground spices for your next dish.
- We also include a removable stainless steel mesh screen which filters out the most finely ground spices which contain the most intense flavor due to the high ratio of surface area on each filtered particle.
How to Clean the Grinder
- Disassemble the entire grinder
- Collect as much debris as possible with a dry cloth
- Use a clean, dry toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol to remove any excess debris on all aluminum parts (not on the polycarbonate window)
- Put the disassembled aluminum parts in a jar or bowl with isopropyl alcohol and soak for 20-30 minutes
- For the clear polycarbonate window, use regular dish soap and water
- Wipe away any excess debris with a paper towel or cotton swab
- Rinse with hot water and wipe, and let it air dry
- Reassemble for use
Dealing with Squeaking
- Use a little olive oil on the end of a cotton swab and apply to threads or other parts that rub together
